TVS Training, Bullayya College to set up EV lab

Visakhapatnam: Dr Lankapallli Bullayya College of Engineering and TVS Training and Services have signed a MoU to establish an EV lab as a Centre of Excellence (CoE). After exchanging MoU copies here on Friday, TVS Training and Services CEO G Narayanamurthy and secretary and correspondent of Dr L B Colleges Dr G Madhu Kumar said that the CoE will be operational in a month.
As part of the MoU, TVS will provide two and three-wheelers for research and maintenance by the students. Students enrolled from various colleges of Visakhapatnam and its neighbourhood will be trained for two to three weeks by the resource personnel deputed by TVS. Narayanamurthy told the media later that EV is emerging as the future with the government laying a lot of importance to encourage everyone to switch over to electric vehicles.”
